As you may have heard, or if this is news to you, the Hauswin in Golden Wood was vandalised last month which is really upsetting for many of us, including myself. I am very fond of the Hauswin, which is an iconic structure in Golding Wood.
During the summer I would often go on my bike in the morning (you may have seen me around this summer in Lawshall and the neighbouring villages, although I tended to leave at 5.00 am) and after my cycle I would visit the Glebe for a drink and go up and sit in the Hauswin to witness the magnificent view of the sunrise. I would aoso go up there occasionally in the evenings to relax and watch the sunset.
I know I am not the only one who enjoys the Haswin as there are many youngsters and elders who enjoy the view the Hauswin has to offer and it's a real shame it;s been vandalised. Work has already begun in repairing my favourite part of the wood, of which I am a part, and I would really like it if lots of you could come down and help and then hopefully you;ll be able to experience the wintry sky in the near future. Thank you.
